As you can see, internet projects make academic collaboration between students possible regardless of their location in the world. During our current unit of study, we have been learning about climate change and the effects of the global warming phenomenon on our planet. Using climate change as the focus of our ongoing study, I would like for you to brainstorm ideas for an internet project we could participate in, or host, as a class.
Let's review the parameters for our project:
What would such an internet look like? Use the template of the example internet project above to guide your thinking and to develop an internet project for our class. We will review each group's suggestions carefully, making modifications if necessary, before deciding on an internet project to pursue.
Please use the Comment link to ask questions about this assignment and use the Submission Form to share your designed internet project with the class.
Let's review the parameters for our project:
- It must advance our knowledge of climate change.
- It must allow us to study the effects of climate change in different regions of the world.
- It must allow us to create and share a body of knowledge in the form of database, website, wiki, or other internet accessible medium.
- It must allow for collaborative work both within the class and with our partner schools.
